Classes

I offer four different types of classes at my studio in Twain Harte.

Private one on one wheel-throwing classes at $50.00 per class which includes all materials and two firings. I encourage my students to sign up for a minimum of three classes so they can experience the complete cycle of making a piece of functional art. You will have a chance to throw, trim and glaze.

I offer group classes for five students at a time. This class is an introduction to hand building. Depending on how many classes the group wants to sign up for, you can learn how to make pinch pots, construct a piece with slabs and/or use the extruder to create hollow forms. This costs $15.00 per student per class.

Contact me with your own ideas and we can design a class together. Girl scouts have earned their pottery badges, families have made dishes together, and visitors from other countries have created a piece of art as a momento of their trip to California.
